My work is inspired by a verteran of WW1 and how he saw the world during the time in war. In the background we see that the war is over, hence the bright blue sky and poppy field, but in the veteran's eyes, you see that he still sees the war. The war affected so many lives immensely that the traumatising experience would stay in their heads forever.
