I wanted to be bit ironic in this piece so I covered the eyes which would usually be a focal point. By doing this you are still drawn towards the eye area and possibly want to know what the rest of the face looks like and wonder why its coverd in the first place. Through your own eyes you are able to find curiosity presently instead of through the painting. This is how I made my painting ironic.
