Free Eye Screenings in Canterbury with Essilor Vision Foundation

Volunteer optometrists from around New Zealand, including Paterson Burn Optometrists, have been offering their time to screen school children for undiagnosed eye problems as part of the Essilor Vision Foundation New Zealand program. The program, which has been running since late 2015, aims to screen 4,000 school children in 2017.

 

Paterson Burn Optometrist’s Children’s Vision specialist, Kim Stedman, was recently interviewed by Chris Lynch of Newstalk ZB to discuss the free eye screenings for 480 children which was conducted in Canterbury on 12th May.
