My artwork is inspired by the depth and deception of the human personality. A person may create the view of themselves above the surface to be completely opposite to what is underneath. The person in the picture is creating the deception of being grey and bland, when in reality, below the surface, they are colourful and fun. Her deception is to the people looking on the surface. When you get to know someone, you dive below the surface to see all of their personality, seen and unseen; shown and not. Only the person can let you dive in and see this side, their "true colours".
